'Analogue' is the title of my personal, on-going photography project. I love photography, and in particular, lo-fi images shot on film. I love it for a whole number of reasons: the film grain, the vignetting, the rough and ready feel, and all the little imperfections that give it character.
What I've always liked most about photography is the way it makes you see the world differently. And shooting on film takes it to the next level – overlapping shots, multiple exposures, cross-processing, sprocket holes and light-leaks to name a few. And there's something about having an image burnt into film which makes it real. It's physical, it's imperfect, it's slightly random and quite human.
Several times a year I exhibit my photos in 'The Strand' gallery at Kings Church Eastbourne. For more information on my next gallery email me at: sam@sa-design.co.uk
